Operations Open Positions

Summary:  As part of the Operations Team, you will be our initial point of contact with our customers, prospects, and clients.  You will also assist your teammates by performing a variety of administrative duties related to our commercial real estate lending, portfolio management, and office administration activities. 

About the Opportunity:

  • Administration
    • Answer inbound phone calls and inquiries
    • Greeting customers and visitors
    • Scanning, copying, filing, ordering supplies, gathering and distributing mail, and other administrative tasks
    • Keeping the reception area, conference room and other areas clean and in order
    • CRM system management
    • Assisting with pipeline reports, sales reports, and other internal reporting
  • Loan Processing and Portfolio Management
    • Assisting with loan processing; including, transaction coordination and closing
    • Assisting with loan portfolio administration; including, property tax & insurance monitoring and follow-up, and assisting with construction disbursements, maturities, modifications and extensions, payoffs, covenant management, and other portfolio management functions
    • Loan file management
    • Report generation
  • Other
    • Other tasks and assignments requested by the company
  • Hours & Location
    • Full Time - Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
    • Some assistance beyond those hours may be required from time to time
    • The position is based in our Newport Beach, California office

About You:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in real estate loan processing, closing, servicing, or similar experience; some commercial real estate experience highly desired
  • Notary in good standing highly desired
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • An outgoing, people person with excellent customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
